The Hot Mixing Plant is used to heat and mix aggregates & liquid asphalt cement in measured quantities. It consists of a single burner fitted to the discharge end of the drying cylinder. It discharges heated aggregate into the storage ring, which is supported on two roller tracks running on 4 nos. guide rollers and is driven by chain and sprocket wheel. To discharge the aggregates, a bucket elevator is provided for convenient transfer. Furthermore, the hot aggregates in the Mixing Plant are discharged into the batching chute with the help of lifting buckets.
